Philander Childs was a brother to my great great grandfather Daniel Childs Jr. they did have a sister Sarah but at this time I don't have any information about her, except the date of birth and place born.
It is however possible that the Sarah Day was a sister.
I have a large Childs file on paper. I will check to see if there is any information that may help you.
There is a distant cousin in Kansas that is the great great grandson of Philander, I will contact him and see if he can help.
