Is there any information in the Smith book regarding Ephraim Smith who married Nancy Crawford? I believe his brother was the Nelson Smith who written about in the county histories.
I believe they were the sons of Elijah Smith who in turn was the son of Jesse Smith. Please do not record this as fact as I do not yet have satisfying documentation. I was recently searching the old wills index to try to find a will for Elijah but had no success. I guess I'll search probate and court indexes next. All so time consuming! Any help will be greatly appreciated.
