I have relatives born in somerset also with the surname Childs. I believe some may have been born in Yeovil or Taunton area. George Childs was my Great Grandfather. I am not sure of his birthdate or parents' names. He had children Ethel Maude, Henry (Harry), Archibald, Mabel, and Rhoda.

Does any of this sound familiar?
