I found him as born 4 Mar 1835 in Dorchester, Suffolk, MA, the son of William Childs(b.21 Aug 1802 in Roxbury,Suffolk,MA) and Hannah B. Holmes (b.16 Aug.1804 Roxbury,Suffolk,MA), one of 6 children. Check Familysearch.org under Curtis Childs.
