My gg-grandmother was Angeline Childs 1851-1931. She married Joseph W. Pace. She was the daughter of Thomas J. Childs 1825-1907 and Anne Poole. You will probably need to go back a little ways to connect your family to the older generations. If you find a great or great-great grandfather, let me know and I'll try to help. If you have anyone who died after 1915 in SC, you can get a death certificate. Just call your county health dept. and they'll send you the form to fill out. The cost is 12 dollars. The certificate should tell you the person's parents.
