I am updating my e-mail address. I have gotten married and moved 800 miles away since this posting.
Still searching for info about this family. I have received some from another relative.
Searching for my g grandfather Hiram Benjamin Childs born in SC April 12, 1857 son of John Thomas Childs and Ann Pettipool (or Pettigood?) both of SC. He died in Elberton, GA July 12, 1930.
Hiram was married to Allena (called Lena) Elizabeth Wallace born June 19, 1868.
Their oldest son was actually Benjamin Guy. I hope to find out more about the Childs ancestors.
