This John Childs of Jennings County In. did by an act of The General Assembly of the State of Indiana and approved by the State Legislature of said state on Jan. 30,1833 change his name that of his wife Nancy, late Baker, and that of his children from Meek to Childs. His name was John S. Meek. He married Nancy Baker in 1823 in Jennings County. Does anyone have any information pertaining to this John Childs/Meek?
