I don't have any information on the one you are asking about, but I do have a Roland Childs that is farther back. This Roland had a son, Paul b. 1782, d. 1876 who married Susan Kersey. Their daughter was Frances A. Childs, b. April 20, 1806, d. Aug. 27, 1885. They are my husband's ancestors, and the information is from my mother-in-law. I don't know what her sources were.
