My name is Samantha Alguire
I also have a great great grandfather William Child or Childs
they also claim that he died in the first world war. his year was 1916.
I do know that he was married befor but can not find the first wifes name
my great great grandmother told her son my great grandfather that his father william
died in the war but he remembers seeing him being very sick , befor he left for Canada in
1921. I m wondering if this is the same family . My great grandfathers name was
Denis Frederick Joseph Child
his brothers were
George William Child
And Ernest Child or
Ernest Percy Child
the last name is spelt child or childs
they lived in birmingham as well
any were from Rugby ,and surounding areas
