1.PARENTS OF JOEL B. CHILDRESS wereAlford Childress and Bedia Baggett. Bedia Baggett was the daughter of Joel Baggett and Martha Amason. Bedia "Beedy" Baggett was born in 1802 in Morgan County Ga and she died on 13 Jan 1885. She is buried in the Mount Carmel Cemtery in Chilton Ala.According to my records "Polly" was a nickname for Mary Garner Childress.Do you have the DOB, DOD and spouse of each of the 10 children?

3.PARENTS OF JAMES CHILDRESS were Robert Childress Sr. of the old 96th Judicial District of SC and Mary (maiden name unk).DOB abt 1760 DOD before 25 Jun 1799;) Robert's Children: Robert Jr. who married Sara Catherine Carter;James who married Elizabeth (maiden name unk); Thomas who married Nancy or Jane Mahan; Mary who married John Stogner; Lucy who married Willis Smith; Polly who married Alexander Richey; and Sarah who married John Middleton.
My family line runs from Robert Childress Sr through James, Alford, Joel B., Mose Lindsey, Robert Dudley to me (Robert Dudley Childress).
