Charlotte: My 3rd great grandfather, William CHILDRESS l785 VA - l864 Caldwell Co, KY had a brother named Jesse CHILDRESS...both of them settled in KY...they were the sons of William CHILDRESS b.l755 VA d.l806c VA m. Jean BURTON b.l765 VA d.l845 VA..both are buried: Old Dick Jones Cemetery/VA...Jean BURTON CHILDRESS(widow) m. 2nd Thomas HAMBLIN (my ancestor also)- no issue- Thomas Hamblin left a will dated l811 Meck CO, VA and Jesse CHILDRESS is on the will...feel free to email me at gvdirt@aol.com
