My grandfather was George Carter Childress of Knox County, TN. His children were born at Heiskell Station and Oak Ridge, TN. His children were Nellie, Benjamin, Lilly, Georgia, and Richard Lavada Childress (my father). George Carter Childress was married about 5 times, the last two of the wives names were Laura Fanny Brock, Mary Lee Hensley. Laura (Fanny) and two other wives are buried at Mount Harmony Cemetery, family stories indicate these are unmarked graves. George Carter Childress and Mary Lee are buried at Lynnhurst Cemetery in Knoxville.

I have been unable to get any information on ancestors, or George's siblings. Does this name or any of this information sound familiar? I would greatly appreciate any help!
