Searching for CYNTHIA JANE CHILDRESS who marrried DENNIS WOOD of Douglas County, MO, probably around 1865. Dennis was a Pvt. in the Missouri Light Artillery CSA, He enlisted at Van Buren,AR., Mar 1862 and served in Mississippi. The unit was paroled after the battle of Vicksburg. Cynthia therefore could have been from any of these locations. Thanks for your help!
