I read your post and was wondering if this is the same family?
My grandfather is Ernest Thomas Evans of Dawson,Tx , B: Nov 27, 1898 Hubbard, Hill County., TX. D: May 16, 1973.
Ernest married Nannie Lucille Thomas B: Aug 9, 1910 D: June 12, 1989 in Corsicana, Navarro County., TX. Her parents are James Thomas and Mary Williams (I have NO information on Mary Williams)
Ernest's parents are William M. Evans, B: July 1869, and Malissa (Lissy) THURMAN Evans (TN). Siblings: Mabel, Jay, Irene, Lowell Evans.
Malissa's parents: James thurmon (TN) and Nancy Childers (TN)
I realize this is a very old post- but I sure hope you're still around. I'd love to hear from you.
