I have a John Henry (some data says Harvey) Childress b. 26 Oct 1827 Russell Co Va m Rebecca Jessee b 4 Sept. 1836. Father was Abraham Childress (or Childers) b ca 1800 m Frances Kiser b 1803. Both died in 1887 in Russell Co. Va. Any connection to your John Henry? I'm having trouble beyond Abraham. Thanks.
