Hi Kathy, I think your Nancy Lewis Herndon is a sister
to my grgrandmother, Mary A. Herndon who married
David C.Robinson in Fluvanna.They had a daughter,
Rebecca Ann Robinson b. 1853 who married John Walker Pace
b. 1843 in Fluvanna, son of John R.Pace and Elizabeth?
I think we've discussed the Paces before.
what is your relationship to Nancy Herndon b. abt.1823.
I had been told previously that Nancy had never married.
However, another researcher also has her married
to Benjamin Franklin Childress and a sister to My Mary.
She says they were both daughters of David Herndon
and Polly Murry who were married in 1818.
