Would the real William Childress please step forward.

Hello,

I am looking for the father of James Nelson Childress. Someone told me it is a William Childress that was married to a Meredith. I have no way to know.

My James Nelson Childress is connected to William Childress and Spotswood Childress. Their names show up on some papers in Goochland County, Virginia. Someone said Spotswoods father is William, but they told me that Spotswood does not have a brother named James Nelson Childress. I am stuck and need some help.
