I am just starting out tracking down family. I have been told that my gggrandfather was from TN and was named "Tom" wife "Ewilda" (phonetic/not sure). They had a son Horace Ewin who would be my ggrandfather. They moved to Sherman TX and worked with the railroad. Eventually the wife of Horace (Jessie Spurlock) and children (Jack Kelly, Brown, Susue, and Helene) moved to FL (where I was born). I have no more specific info. Is Horace Ewin a decendant of your Tom Childress?
