William Childress b. 1780 in Va married Phoebe Hill, dau William Hill, b. 1785. They were married in 1804. Their daughter Catherine Childress married Jesse Nichols in 1847 in Charlotte County. William and Phoebe were living with Jesse and Catherine in the 1850 Census in Halifax County Va. Looking for info on Parents , siblings of William Childress. I believe Phoebe is daughter of William Hill and Anne Davis.
