My mother was a Childress, but was adopted by another family when she was a small child. This would have been around or a little before 1930. She believes her mom's name was Rachel and the 2 sisters were Helen and Henrietta. She also thinks there were 1 or 2 younger brothers, but she doesn't know their names; or her father's name. They lived in Charleston, WV area at the time.
Does anyone recognize any of these names. Any help or info would be very much appreciated.
