Let me say though that three Childress brothers, Mitchell, William and John left the Albemarle/Amherst area of VA on a journey of about 10 years that had them living in NC for several year before moving finally to Knox Co., TN. They were in TN by the 1793-95 time period moving to the Bull Run area of northern Knox County. With three brothers and three families there may or may not be a connection.
