Have found that John Washington Childress was the son of Joel Childress and Nancy Clark, b. about 1834, Jackson Co., Ala.
Brothers, Thomas Jefferson Childress b. 1826, Monroe Childress b. 1832.
Joseph harim Childress b. 1844.
Sisters, Laura, b. 1836,
Sarah, b. 1838,
Nancy b. 1840
Mary b. 1842,
Caldonia b. 1847,
Virginia b. 1848.
There was another sister b. about 1830, do not have her name.
The names you mentioned do not ring a bell but then there is a lot I do not have.
Joel's father was supposed to be John Childress,..Bonnie,
