He was born in South Carolina circa 1792 and was buried in Ackerman, Mississippi. Some of his descendents' given names were Boice, Caleb, David, John, Levi, William, Thomas. Female names were Cornelia, Elvia, Elizabeth, Mary, Maud, Minerva, Nancy, Tabitha.
