James Childers Tidbits.I am not sure all this info belongs to your James Childers, but possibilities.Mine were in Georgia and North Alabama about the same time.I would LOVE to see what info you have!I suspect my ancestor Willis Childers (b 1795 NC- bef 1880 pos Morgan Co AL) to be son of the Milliner Childers, a Revolutionary Soldier for Nc, who enumerated as a Pensioner on 1840 Hall Co GA, age 77.I just haven't been able to prove it ....Yet! Mildred White, July 2001: As far as I have been able to determine this Robert Childers is not in our group. There was Childers's in Alabama long before our ancestors came but I don't know where they came from or who they are related to.I do have some information on a Robert Childers I will send to you. There was a James Childers in Alabama before our ancestors also but don't know about him either.
