I finally found the parents of this ancestor. Huron County Marriage Registrations show that John Minton Chidlow who married Emily Stewart 28 April 1871 in Huron County, Ontario, Canada is the son of George and Mary Chidlow. He was baptised in Alberbury, Shropshire 14 April 1843. Does anyone connect with any of these Chidlows?
