Hello,
I contacted the library as soon as I got the information listed below, but they would not copy all and told me to pick what I wanted which was naturally all of it. ***** If someone would be able to copy it, I would be glad to reimburse them for the copies and mailings. I would be eternally grateful. I have the Balbairnie book so don’t need it Please contact me before you do so so that I will not end up with 20 copies , HA!. I have never gotten to the library as planned. My cousin made it there, but she did not really know what to copy for she does not genealogy but she was trying to help. She had her elderly parents ready to go as soon as they got there.
I know that there are many of you now that live within the area that might could or already have used the library to research this list which I got from the library if not hopefully this will help you.
I have many pictures that I have figured out who they are and some that I do not know. I will hopefully get those on the internet when I get my website set up. My son was going to do that. He is leaving Sunday to work for my brother in law in CA. Hopefully, I can grab him before he leaves.

I received a letter from his lawyer telling me of his death. He apparently was writing the people that Clarence Vance had corresponded with throughout the years.

home of his grandparents: Samuel and Martha
Elizabeth (Kennedy) Vance. I, Cheryl Parr have
tons of pictures that are Vances, Steeles, etc.

good home. I think I have finally taught myself
to do the scanner and hope to put them on my FTM
website soon. If there is a particular person I
will look. I did have a list made. I had a
wonderful lady who sent me pictures and info on
the Chidesters which it turned out that I had been keeping this picture forever thinking some day it would be someone. When I found it was bent and I was sick. I hope to locate the lady or she will read this on the query She was a Chidester. I was surprised to learn that one of the 3 ladies was my gg grandmother and the other was my gg grandmother and the other was her sister.)
