John Milligan is in the 1850 Licking County OH census (widowed?) with Charlotte age 6, born OH and Ganette, age 3 born Ohio. They are living with Horace Munsell, age 28, born in Ohio. John is 28 years old and was born in England.
Henrietta Chidester Milligan and John are in the 1860 census of Mt. Vernon, Jefferson County, ILL. Two more children have been born, Emma in 1864 and George in 1859.
In 1880 Henrietta is with Samuell S. Mitchell in Licking County, OH.
I would like to know what happened to the children and john Milligan. There is a John Milligan who died at the county poor farm in Shelby County, ILL. 6-26-1880. He was age 60.
