Well, the Vestal Book is brief; the fact that so many Chidesters are mentioned means there's a lot more to be gleaned from local records at Vestal, NY. 1835 census lists Samuel, Holdridge & Joseph. Holdridge & Liney have Joshua Daniel 10/17/1847. William & Martha have Mary Uthana 1/1/1848. At some point I may look at the original archives, but the book was compiled by Grace Avery and put together in 1973.
