She was the daughter of Robert Gates Archer, b. 23 SEP 1792, Columbia, ME, d. 17 FEB 1837, Aurora, ME, and Deborah Smith Giles, b. 232 SEP 1792, Columbia, ME; grand daughter of John Archer, b. 26 MAR 1752, Worthen, England, d. 26 JAN 1830, Cherryfield, ME, and Elizabeth Gates Tupper, b. 3 APR 1758, Lebanon, CT, d. 26 MAY 1830, Jonesboro, ME; great grand daughter of Henry Archer, b. 28 NOV 1719, and Mary Wigley, b. 6 SEP 1726, Cardington, England.
