Thanks so much Saundra! That is precisely what I was looking for. Here's a little more info on Sarah (Sally):

Born: ABT 1784 in Virginia

Husband: Joseph YAGER, b. 1784 in Culpeper, Culpeper Cty Virginia

Married: 16 OCT 1806 in Culpeper, Culpeper Cty Virginia

MARRIAGE: In Culpeper County according to "Genealogical & Historical Notes on Culpeper Co. VA" by Green. Name is spelled CHICH.

One thing that confuses me is that James Chick seems to appear on the 1810 census in BOTH Knox Co., KY and Culpeper Co., VA. This is why I wasn't sure if the James Chick in Knox Co., KY was Sarah's father. I believe Sarah died in 1862 in Laurel Co., KY.

Do you know anything about James Chick's military service? Did he receive any land grants?
