i don't have much. rebecca moon has a website with chick/cheek info. (col william of bent creek pronounced the name "cheek" but spelled it "chick.") check her postings on the cheek family genealogy forum. the website is www.moonzstuff.com/Cheek/other/JohnJr-p2.html. this is a good outline of what we know about richard of king & queen and his ancestors.
col william's wife was elizabeth and they sold some land in amherst in 1810. i haven't been able to figure out how they came by the land however. she may have been an allen. was james a's middle name allen?
i do have information on the walton grandchildren.
