Hello Jeff
No, I don't know what town or parish he came from, just that he was born in Somerset England. We got that from a News Paper on a court trial in NZ that he was a wittness in back in 1870,giving his full name and were he was born, and what little we got from his Will.
I guess my next search will be the Parish record in Somerset.
