My Susan was born in the abt 1830 in Virginia. I believe after Pettis died she was relocated in S.C., with his nephew-Pettis W.Chick and she had eight children in the 1880 and live in Union Co., S.C. The childrens name-General (my ggranddad),Corrie, Alexander, Ann, Albert, Will, Mary and Hannah. According to oral history she was Native American, but I'm not sure she was 100 percent.
