Thanks for your message - I have very few details as I have had problems finding out much about the Chick side of my family!
I know that my father's grandfather (on his mother's side) was Francis Edgar Chick (b.7/7/1897 at 37 Longcroft Road, London, SE5)(a diaryman) and he died in 1972 in Edmonton, London, N9. He had, as far as I know, two brothers and one sister, William, Thomas
(b. Mch 1900 in Camberwell) and Florence.
Their father was called Walter Thomas Chick
(b. around 1862) (I have found a man of this name born late 1862 in Camberwell, but unsure if the same person) and he was an Hydraulic Engineer in 1897 and an Engineer in 1916) and he was married to Pheobe Lansdown.
That's as far as I have got with this side as, unfortunately, my father's mother died some 14 years ago and so finding details is difficult.
