A note about Harry Albertus Chick - he was a "polite entertainer" by profession. Word is, he had a beautiful Irish Tenor voice. He and two borthers named Hunter had a Vaudeville-like act called "Hunter,Chick,& Hunter". Harry died from pneumonia when his youngest child, my father-in-law, was 3 months old. Our Chick branch evidently moved from Cecil County, MD to Washington, DC. We still have our roots in DC, since most of my husband's generation still live in the Washington suburbs.
