JUDE S. CHIASSON NOVEMBER 28, 1934 to APRIL 7, 2009 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, uncle etc... He will be ever so sadly missed by his loving wife of 53 years Ruby, children Theresa, Rick (Leanna), Marcel, Rosalie (Brian) Meaden, grandchildren Tara, Dustin, Blaine, Dalton and Brett and pre-deceased by his son Bernie (1980). He will also be missed by his many brothers and sisters back East, as well as his many realtives and friends here. Jude enjoyed hunting, fishing, travelling and he loved camping in the great outdoors. At a young age he joined the Canadian Air Force (NATO), and travelled overseas where he married Ruby Fordham. He returned to Canada and worked for Joe Martin & Sons Logging. Shortly after he started working for BC Rail, and retired after 33 years. After retirement, he worked for his nephew, Mike at Petro-Can, then for Ken at Cariboo Crome before becoming a Member of the Corp of Comissionaires for 15 years, making many more close comrades and friends. He was a member of the Legion for 48 years, a Knights of Columbus member and also Blockwatch Captain since 1995 for the Sintich trailer Park. A memorial service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tuesday April 14 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Legion, or your charity of choice, and Please remember to donate your blood which over the years Jude largely contributed to.
