Hello ... I hope you don't mind my jumping in here, but I am looking for information on a Chiasson family from Gloucester Co., NB, and I have seen several place names mentioned here which make me think I have the right family.
I am looking for this family : Josephine Chiasson,b. ca 1901 daughter of Andre Chiasson and Philomene Jones md. 1891/11/23; Andre was son of Gervais Chiasson and Marie Gionet ...Philomene Jones was d/o William Jones and Henriette/Harriet Dugue or Dugas .....this information from PANB, Fredericton, Marriage Records. Josephine Chiasson married Arthur Moreau in 1923. Her brother, Gervais Chiasson married Adelia Moreau, Arthur's sister. They lived in or near Island River, or Rivierre Petit de l'Isle; Caraquet , Shippegan area. Any connection?
