Thanks for the info on the children of LaBlanche and Jean. I had their names and birthdates but didn't have the spouses of the girls or the surname of Charles' first wife. I found a listing in the Restigouche County Marriages that has Blanche Chiasson marrying Jean Lecouture 9 Aug 1835. All census listings I've seen for Sinai Lecouteur indicate he was born between 1828 and 1831. Now I don't know if perhaps Blanche was Jean's second wife and therefore not Sinai's mother, or if, as in many cases, the census ages shown are just off.
