I am researching my great-grandmother and find her name, Elva Chesson, may have been Chiasson (the French version of the English Chesson). Her father was Jonas Chesson, brother was Alfred Chesson. Don't know what kin she is to Cecile Chesson: daughter, half-sister? She lived and died in Orange County, Texas. She married a Tresimond Granger. Any help appreciated as I have hit a brick wall.
