I'm look for a James Cheyne who married Alfaretta buckman on 14 Sept 1876 in Farmingdale Maine. I calculate his birth date circa 1845 - 1850, assuming he married in his twenties. Was his brother Alexander W. Cheyne who married elizabeth Anderson of Peterhead, Scotland. this would make his parents James Cheyne and Margaret Beaton
