We do have a match with a Chewning that goes back over 600 years and match 63 of 67 markers. I don't call that much of a match.
Our Chowning’s match 66 of 67 markers in 216 years. This is where our lines cross which puts it back to +- 1795.
Elizabeth Chandler was never proven so we dropped it from the data base.

The National Geographic matched the Chowning's DNA to a group in a small town in France.
To my knowledge the Chewning's never took the test.
