Paula, I did a check on the census and found him in Montgomery Co., In., union Twp., pg 290 A, age 27,born IL.,father OH,Mother IN., Elly,wife, 20,OH., parents VA.,Frederick B.,son,age 2, IL., Albert,son,age 2 months,IL.,Edgar, other,age 13,IL.,George Stampes,Son, 8,IL.
Then on 1920:Montgomery Co.,IN.,Wayne Twp.,pg 3 A.:
J.N.Chesterson, 68,born IL.
Martha L.,wife,58,born Ohio
Bernard N.,grandson,14,born IN.
I have a write up that says he married Ella Brocis and had eight children. It does not give dates. It list the children as: Raliegh Rufus, Clifford Clinton,Bessie May,Tessie, Warner, Edgar,Albert,and Frederick Berton.
