Ronald, I read your message about the fiddle that you have. It was made by my great-grandfather, Jonas Blaine Chess. He made fiddles as a hobby and gave most of them to his grandchildren, one of which is my father, Ed Chess, who lives in Carmichaels, PA. He has an article that ran in the newspaper about the fiddles and his grandfather's hobby.
