Hi Ronald,
I believe the J B Chess that made the fiddle is my great-grandfather Jonas Blaine Chess from Greene Co. PA. My aunt also has a fiddle he made, and there are probably others out there as well. I can send other information on him if you send me the specific things you are interested in. Take care,
