Hi! My husband is a descendant of the Chess & Jacobs families from Greene Co Pennsylvania. I have a Jacobs family history on my website (http://www.oregontrail.net/~mpoland/jacofam.html)
I just finished a Chess family history but have not posted it to my webpage yet. Hope to do so in the next few days. I also have info on the Poland & McGlumphy families that are interconnected with both the Chess & Jacobs' lines. Another good source of info would be my husband's aunt Gale Poland Meeks.
