Francis Shipe Hilton, 1887 of Pennsylvania

Recently I discovered the 1887 Death Notice in The Monongahela Republican,of my great great grandmother as follows:
"Oct. 23, Mrs. Francis Hilton, aged 86 years, of infirmities. Funeral Tuesday at 10 a.m., from the residence of John Hilton; Interment at the Chess grave yard." Subsequently, I've found information that this was a private family cemetery "up on the hill," in Mon City, in disarray. The sole monument cited Sarah Wickerham Chess and a few members of the Chess Family. Francis (female) Shipe Hilton might have been a servant of the Chess Family. I have no knowledge of this fact, however, being she was an African American buried in the grounds of a White family grave yard, I'm assuming this to be of some possibility. During the early 1800's, she lived with a son, H.C. Hilton in Birmingham Boro and Allegheny County. She was born between 1799-1800, in Pa. or MD. She married George or William Hilton. My questions: Is there any one with old documents that could provide data on her parents, her place of birth, and especially why she was buried in the private cemetery? Also, which John Hilton residence was the newspaper referring to, Pittsburgh? Monongahela City? Her daughter was Miss Margaret Hilton of nearby Monongahela City (?) who married one of the ministers from Bethel AME Church in Mon City, the Rev. S.T. Jones. I would appreciate all information relayed to me.
