George Chess was my great uncle. My father, Herbert Mac Chess (1910-1997), was the son of John Chess who was George's brother. I remember going to Ohio when George's wife, Maggie, died. We visited the Chesses in Ohio several times and they visited my parents in Kingsport several times. In fact my mom got Christmas cards from Ruth Bradford and Lawrence Chess, so she still stays in touch with them. I have information about the Tennessee Chesses as well as some about those who migrated to Ohio if you need anything.
