Theodore, Bessie, Charles Chesshire 1920 Census Gallatin Tnshp, Clay Co Missouri

The 1920 Census for Gallatin Township, Clay County, MO shows my great-grandfather, Ross James Purdue (age 23), was living as a boarder with the Chesshire family.

Because Ross James Purdue's mother was Tena/Tina Cheshire (I have seen a lot of spellings for the Cheshire name), I believe that the Theodore Chesshire family & Ross James Purdue were related - but I don't know how. Tena/Tina was born in Noble County, OH. Her father was Uriah Cheshire.

The Census shows:
Theodore Chesshire - Head, age 41, born in IL, parents born in VA
Bessie Chesshire - Wife, age 35, born in MO, father KY, mother MO
Charles R Chesshire - Son, age 2, born in MO
Sarah V Chesshire - Mother, age 69, born in VA, father VA, mother MO.

If you have any information regarding this branch of the Chesshire family, please let me know.

Thanks!
