I am trying to find out where William Burgess was during the 1851 census.
He was born in Anderton, Budworth, Cheshire, ca 1827. In the 1841 census, he is living in Northwich with his Grandmother Nancy Burgess b. 1761, his father Peter b.1801, his mother Sydia b. 1791, and his brother John born ca. 1826.
In 1861 he resurfaces living at the Saltworks in Garston with his wife Ellen and three children, Mary, John and George. But in 1851, he vanishes. If anyone knows his whereabouts, I would be grateful.
I am putting this information together for the 80th Birthday of Betty Ursula Burgess born in 1926 to father Norman Burgess and mother Elsie Fisher....if you know anything about them also I would love to hear from you.
