I have the following information from the Family Treemaker web site.
Thornton Cheshire was born 1786. He married Jemina Susanna Gibson March 8, 1808.

2 Presley S. cheshire, b. 1810
3 Mary Cheshire, b. 1812: m. Gilbert Patterson
4 John Baptist Cheshire, b. 1814
5 Anderson J. Cheshire, b. 1815
6 Polly Cheshire, b. 1815
7 William Elkins Cheshire, b. 1817
8 Cynthia Cheshire, b. 1820
I only have this information on her first marriage. They were married on Feb. 11, 1832 and Presley S. Chesher was the Bondsman. The final date on this was Feb. 16, 1832.
The information on the marriage I found in a book titled "Marriages fo Grainger County, Tennessee 1796-1837. The book was compiled by Edythe Rucker Whitley and published by Genealogical Publishing Co,. Inc. in 1982. There are may other Pattersons listed in this book as well as many Cheshires.
